In Abuja, the Nigerian Vice President on the 31st of July received Amb. Clem Aguiyi in audience. He described Amb Aguiyi as a friend whose paths had crossed in several ways .
He commended Amb Aguiyi, who was the immediate past Chairman emeritus of Njikoka LGA for his purposeful leadership in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
His words : After seeing what you did in Njikoka as TC Chairman, I marvelled at your audacity, I decided to personally invite you to share ideas with you . I commend you for your uncommon leadership. Intellectuals like you should be playing at centre politics. Even where you are criticising us in your writings, I still make sure I read your columns because you write as a patriot whose love for the country is not in question. You definitely have a bright future in politics. You can help reshape the Nigeria’ future for good”
Amb. Aguiyi thanked the vice president for his kind words.
