During a courtesy visit to Cardoso, the CBN Governor, told Faisal bin Ibrahim, Saudi Arabia’s Envoy to Nigeria, that the CBN remains committed to advancing partnerships that will deepen economic ties between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia ¹. Cardoso emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration across critical sectors that drive economic growth.
He also briefed the Saudi Ambassador on Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms, highlighting efforts to diversify the economy, promote foreign investment, and improve the business environment. Additionally, Cardoso discussed investment opportunities in Nigeria, particularly in infrastructure, agriculture, and energy.
Cardoso further explored ways to collaborate with Saudi Arabia on financial inclusion initiatives, including mobile banking, digital payments, and financial literacy programs. He stressed the importance of regional economic cooperation and the need for Nigeria and Saudi Arabia to work together to promote economic growth and stability .
